This is a one-day workshop of crafting with the very durable materials of antler and bone. We will make small containers with the hollowed-out bones or antlers and make them suitable for salves, matches, trinkets or bone needles! We will also make a bone needle or Maori fish hook using flint as our tool. This workshop offers an opportunity to experience working with this readily available yet little utilised material. Some basic knife skills are required. All tools and materials included.
