Assessing your service
The Code of Practice has introduced the Core Roles of a Ranger, Professional Best Practice for Rangers and the Core Skills and Competencies for Rangers.
The Professional Best Practice and generic competencies should be common to ALL Rangers, however each Service/or Rangers within each Service will place a different emphasis on the Rangers roles and therefore the specialist competencies
You will need to assess your Service objectives against the Roles and specialist competencies to identify those that will be of relevance to your Rangers.
