The journey continues
Achieving the Scottish Ranger Award is not the journeys end.
Managers play a crucial part in making the Ranger Professional Development journey work. The generic competencies have been developed further to cover management competencies. These are called CPD+.
The CPD+ process
The process is basically the same at that followed to gain the Scottish Ranger Award. First of all you will need to discuss the process with your line manager.

Review the CPD+ competencies to identify the gaps in your skills

Research how you will be able to gather these competencies

Continue on the journey - logging achievements and reviewing progress annually

Once you and your line manager feel that you have gathered the competencies in all 4 areas – submit your portfolio to the CPD Monitoring Group.
